IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ALL GUESTS:
· In the event of a participant's inability to execute the scheduled rental / tour, it is important to note that this circumstance does not release the reserved slot within the stipulated timeframe, resulting in financial implications for our company.
· Please be advised that our rentals / tours involve active participation, and participants are expected to possess a basic level of proficiency in riding. We strongly discourage booking one of our tours / rentals if you:
a) lack prior riding experience,
b) have not ridden in an extended period,
c) are uncertain about your ability to ride,
d) have physical conditions that may impede a safe and comfortable ride.
Inability to execute the scheduled tour, does not release the reserved slot within the stipulated timeframe, resulting in financial implications for our company.
While our tours traverse carefully selected off-the-beaten-track routes, they take place on public streets of Naxos, where there aren’t any dedicated bike lanes.
E-bike frames for participants with height lower than 1,60m (5.2493 ft) can be provided upon request. Let us know in advance for the smoother and safer execution of the tour for all participants.
Regrettably, guests with a weight exceeding 110 kgs (242.508 pounds) are unable to participate in our tours due to safety considerations.
We understand that discussing weight and height can be a sensitive topic, but in order to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment during our e-bike guided tours, we kindly request all our future guests to follow the above rules. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that it's all in the spirit of creating a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone!
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Us, Aurelia IKE and our guides can not be held responsible for personal injury, equipment loss or damage when this is caused as a consequence of not following instructions given.
All minors participate in our tours/rentals under the guardian’s supervision and neither the guide, nor the company Aurelia IKE bears any responsibility for them.
By participating in the tour/rental, all our guests agree to follow their guide’s/briefing instructions at all times.
Any damages that might occur during the tour/rental on e-bikes and/or equipment of Aurelia IKE must be paid to the company - owner.
Aurelia IKE shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any guest in connection with terrorist activities, social, or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, criminal acts or abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the control of Aurelia IKE.
Aurelia IKE shall not be responsible for injuries, damages or losses related to guests’ lack of attention, absent-mindedness or endangering behavior.
Any lawsuit against Aurelia IKE or any of our guides/employees must be carried out in a Greek court, following the laws of Greece.
All our guides are trained in First Aid. On all our tours they carry safety equipment, first aid equipment and communication devices as well as a mobile phone.
Aurelia IKE and our guides/employees reserve the right to make changes to the schedule or to cancel any tour/rental or arrangement due to health, safety and weather conditions.
Aurelia IKE reserves the right to make changes and adjustments to these terms and conditions without prior notification to any client.
By paying for a tour/rental we will assume that all guests have read and agreed to our terms and conditions and cancelation policies.
Cancellation policy
Booking is valid upon the successful completion of 30% deposit payment, with confirmation subject to the visibility of the respective amounts in our account.
Balance payment is paid in cash at the store before the execution of the tour. Please make sure you have retrieved the according amount the day before the rental / tour.
Deposit payments can be made through the bank account provided upon confirmation, a Stripe link or with Paypal.
CANCELATION POLICY
The full amount of the 30% deposit payment is held in cases of:
- Cancelation later than 16 days before the date of the tour/rental.
- Fewer final participants than the initial booking.
- Non show up, non arrival on time with an implication to our time schedule.
The full amount of the 70% balance payment needs to be paid in case of:
- Show up but not able / regret to participate in the scheduled tour.
- Your guide decision that you risk the smooth and safe execution of the tour for you or/and the rest of the participants.
- Starting the tour but do not finish it for any reason.
REFUND POLICY
• All refunds are subject to bank’s or credit card’s fees/charges.
• In the event of us needing to cancel the tour, because of circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund of your deposit payment, or will be happy to arrange a new date for your tour/rental, or another tour/rental with similar specifications, at your request.
• In the event of adverse weather conditions, natural disaster, earthquakes or other circumstances beyond our control, Aurelia IKE reserves the right to cancel your tour without liability, responsibility, or compensation.
